GETTING READY FOR SPRING

By Marsha Brick

Half through February and let’s hope winter is on the wane. This has been one of the coldest winters

that I can remember. Here we are hibernating, only leaving the house if necessary, and running errands all at once. Some of you have called wanting to come by and see the store. However, they said when it warms up, they will come and see what I have.

For those of you curious as to what I have at the store, please give me a call and we can find a time for you come and see what is here. (I have been known to bake some fresh cookies and always have coffee on hand) One of the best parts with this location is parking; it is free and there is lots of spots in the visiting parking lot and lots of free street parking.

One of the nice things that I have discovered at my new location is the gym in the building; I go down early most mornings and work out for about 20 minutes to start; going to build up my time slowly. I have never gone to a gym before; and there is a very nice gentleman to show me how to use some of the equipment and he is very supportive.

With the colder than usual winter the heat is on more, making the home very dry. Also, our wood furniture and cupboards need to be moisturized. We have been carrying a furniture cream for over 20 years called Weiman Furniture Cream. It’s like using a good face cream on your face. It soaks into the pores of the wood and bringing back the luster. With the move to the new store, I am currently out of stock - but I am taking orders and will have it in stock by April. Just give a call or send an email and I will add your name to our list. This product also has a built-in sun screen to help your wood from fading. This product is what Gibbard Furniture recommended for their furniture.
