I realized last week that I have been in operation for a year and learned so much this past year. I also miss my parents, not being able to ask them questions and having their encouragement.
This is my One Year Anniversary Sale. With new stock coming in I am blowing out selective inventory including all discontinued pieces and other items to make room for new and exciting furniture . The sale will be from Friday, February 7, 2020 to Saturday, February 22, 2020. My hours are Monday to Friday (except I will be closed Louis Riel Day) 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. I will stay later if you call ahead and let me know. I will also come back in the evening if that also works for you; just call and we can arrange a time that works for you.
The store is located in Osborne Village (I can not post my address as the arrangement I made with the landlord when I moved in, is that I can verbally give out the address on the phone or in a email). One of the biggest advantages is there is free parking in front of the building with over 20 stalls. It has a security entrance, so I have buzz you into the building.
What happened to me in the Exchange District before we closed the old store was that I was threatened by 2 young individauls and I became very scared. After they left the store, I locked the door and cried as I was alone. That was the worst situation, but there were others over the last couple of years.
Now back to the sale. One of the items is a brand-new Barrymore Chair in a grey fabric that I bought for the store. With them closing their doors I am clearing it out. Barrymore made their product in eight-way hand-tie and bench made. What that means is every spring is tied to the frame 8 times. The bench is made by the person who starts on the chair and makes the whole chair from start to finish. The regular price on this chair, called the Newman, is $3,900.00 clearing out for 55% off at $1,755.00.
